IT Managed Services Engineer (

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Managed Services Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our clients’ IT infrastructure, ensuring high levels of availability, performance, and security. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Azure Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage Azure environments, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of IT systems.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to clients’ operations.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security best practices to protect clients’ data and systems from threats.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Client Support: Provide technical support to clients, addressing their IT needs and concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and implement best practices for managed services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT managed services, with a focus on Azure.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services and solutions.
    • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
    • Experience with system monitoring and management tools.

Certifications: Azure certification AZ-305 Required

Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Customer Service: Ability to provide exceptional customer support and build positive client relationships.

Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes.

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with ITIL and other IT service management frameworks.

working conditions

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Some on-call and after-hours work may be required.
  • Remote work options are available, but occasional onsite visits to client locations may be necessary.
